About the studio
Who actually builds your website.
Who we are, how we work and what changes for your business when the website and the software are built by the same person who answers for them.
Built by a founder, not passed through departments.
“The goal isn't to ship another website. It's to build digital systems that make your business easier to trust, clearer to understand and simpler to run.”
Norbert Tamás, Founder
I'm Norbert, founder of Carpathia Tech and a full-stack engineer with over 6 years building production-ready web platforms and digital products.
I started Carpathia Tech because too many businesses are sold websites that look acceptable but feel unclear, slow or disconnected from how the company actually works.
Every project I accept has the same standard — the business should come out clearer, calmer and easier to trust.
I'm in every conversation — discovery, design reviews, architecture decisions, launch. No account managers. No offshore hand-offs. No diluted version of the work.
If that sounds like the kind of engagement you're looking for, we should talk.
Why clients choose a smaller studio
Small by design. Accountable by default.
Custom-built
No themes used for custom client projects.
Each project is designed and implemented around the business it represents.
Founder-led
One accountable point of contact.
Discovery, technical decisions and delivery stay close to the founder.
Owned products
Our guesthouse, hotel and lake platforms.
We build our products ourselves, so our advice comes from operating software after launch.
And custom software.
We also build custom software — internal applications, integrations between systems, tools that replace manual work. It doesn't fit a package, because it has no fixed shape: projects start from €3,000 and are quoted once we understand what you need to solve.
If you want to start properly, we run a paid discovery session first, €100 — you leave with a written requirements list and an estimate, yours to keep even if we don't go further. If we do, it comes off the project.

What we do for free
- A free review: we write up a first impression of the site you have now, whatever it is.
- A free 30-minute process audit for event organisers: you show us how you run entries today, we tell you what can be simplified.
A process designed to remove uncertainty.
Custom work shouldn't feel mysterious. You should always know what's being built, why it matters and what happens next.
Discovery
We understand the business before touching the interface. Not a sales call — we look at what feels slow, unclear or fragile in your current digital experience. You leave knowing what should change and what's worth leaving alone.
Direction
Wireframes for the key pages, a visual direction for the brand, a copy outline and the system architecture — drafted together, so design decisions and engineering decisions stay in step with each other. You sign off the whole picture before any code is written.
Build
You see working software early. No silent weeks. No dramatic reveal at the end. You watch the product evolve while there's still time to make smart decisions.
Launch & Care
Launch is when the system starts proving itself. We monitor, adjust and improve after release. A serious digital product should keep earning trust after it goes live.
Start with what feels unclear.
You don't need a perfect brief. Tell us what feels slow, messy, outdated or hard to trust — we'll help turn that into a clear next step.
You'll hear from a founder, not a salesperson · One business day · No pressure. No generic pitch.
